Every figure, with its source

One row per source: the figure the source's own page publishes, the page, and the day it was read. A figure that is not on a page we read is not on this one.

The sentence each figure was read from (9)

Read in full, publishes no figure

67 named sources were read in full on the dates shown and print no usable figure. They are counted, never filled in.

Methodology

Every row is a verbatim sentence read from the named source's own page through our fetch service on the date shown, hash-pinned to the stored read (the sha of the page's visible text; the raw page is mirrored to R2).

8 of the 75 named sources that could be read published a usable figure; 67 published none and are recorded as not published, never filled in; 0 could not be read (blocked, dead or unreachable) and count nowhere.

The headline figures (median, minimum, maximum, quartiles) are over ONE figure per source for each breakdown it prices, in USD (a source's median where its page yielded several accepted sentences for one breakdown), so a page that gives figures for several breakdowns gives one for each and N counts 9 figures, never sentences; 598 candidate sentence(s) were refused by a reviewer with the reason recorded.

The fuller derivation this dataset is chartered to grow into (not yet what the figures above are; they are each source's own published figure as read): one row per agency per service per pricing model, normalised so the numbers are comparable: monthly retainer, hourly rate, project minimum, percent of ad spend, and per-unit (per article, per video, per location), each marked as published or quote-only and each with the service it buys.

Across the index that gives the median and range per discipline and per tier, the spread between the cheapest and dearest PUBLISHED retainer for the same stated scope, the percent-of-ad-spend band by budget size, and the one number the market hides - the share of agencies that publish any price at all.

The website-cost family is the same index expressed as a specification: what a stated page count and feature set costs across every firm that publishes a calculator or a rate.

Growth marketing is priced as its own discipline in the same index: the retainer band growth agencies publish for a stated channel count, set beside the generalist and single-channel bands so a growth page can say what the growth premium actually is.

598 candidate sentences on these pages were refused by a reviewer; each refusal and its reason is recorded in the review ledger.
